Q uick and easy Christmas Card
Project Recipe
Distinktive stamping: These stamps are very individual and will pick up ink differently from regular stamps, from varying ink pads and also from one to another. Experiment with your stamp and the colour you are using. You could stamp directly onto the pad, you could brayer ink onto the stamp or you could use sponge daubers.
Fold 8.5 x 5.5 piece of Shaded Spruce in half to create the card base. Adhere a piece of 5-3/8 x 4-1/8 Real Red to the card front and set aside.
Using a sponge dauber ink up the ribbon with Real Red. The ribbon stamp seems to get less spots using the dauber. Stamp onto a scrap piece of Whisper White and fussy cut out. At this time you could also stamp a ribbon onto your 5.25x4 card insert and your envelope if you wish.
Stamp the Sentiment "Season's Greetings" on scrap Whisper White and cut out using the smallest Stitched Oval Framelit.
On a piece of Whisper White, stamp the wreath in Shaded Spruce. The best method for me was stamp to ink pad directly. Using the 1-3/8 circle and the 2-3/8 circle framelits cut the wreath out.
Using a 4x5.25 piece of the wood dsp from the Country Lane DSP wrap Real Red 1/8" Solid Ribbon around the DSP about 1 inch from the bottom. Adhere this piece to the card front.
Using dimensionals adhere the sentiment over the ribbon at the centre.
Glue the bow to the bottom of the wreath. I used a couple dots of Tombow Multipurpose Glue. Then using dimensionals adhere the wreath to the centre of the card toward the top. Place Red Rhinestone jewels around the wreath to create your berries.
