Project Recipe
Card base, pink pirouette 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
rose red layer 4 x 5 1/4
glimmer paper 3 1/4 x 4 1/4
very vanilla 3 x 4
scrap vanilla for sentiment
rose red 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 for dragonfly die cut
vellum 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 dragonfly die cut
I used the 2 3/8 x 3 1/4 oval framelit on scratch paper and used that as a mask. I centered on very vanilla cardstock, used painters tape to hold it down and then stamped my images.
After you have stamped the images, use the embossing buddy over the oval. use versamark to stamp the splattered image from gorgeous grunge and cover with gold embossing powder. You can carefully remove the mask and then heat set the splatters.
After I cut out the dragonfly using vellum paper, I stamped splatters on it and used gold embossing powder. I had to use tweezers to hold it so I didn't burn myself with the heat tool. It may be a better idea to stamp the splatters before you die cut it. I learned the hard way, LOL. I stamped the sentiment with versamark and used gold embossing powder then punched it out after it was heat set.
I used the petal burst embossing folder on the rose red cardstock.
I layered all the pieces and added some gold ribbon.
