T his is a fun way to add some interest to your card front. It works with all kinds of papers. At the end of my instructions, I have pictures of two different prints from the same paper pack.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Pretty Peacock 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Pear PIzzazz paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut print paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Cut Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Attach print paper to Pear Pizzazz mat.
Attach the Pear Pizzazz/print paper to white card front at an angle. You can decide the angle of the paper. Use the back of the white card front as a guide to trim excess Pear Pizzazz/print paper. Attach this piece to the card base.
Stamp sentiment with Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White paper. Punch with 1 ¼ circle punch or punch size that works for sentiment you are using. Punch out circle from Pretty Peacock paper with a 1 ½ circle punch. Attach punched stamped circle to Pretty Peacock circle. Attach this circle to card front with dimensionals.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
