Detailed Santa card

Detailed santa

This is one of the cards for my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. I love this Santa!

Sizes of the layers:

5.5 x 8.5 Whisper White Thick card stock, scored at 4.25
4-1/8 x 4-1/8 Real Red
4 x 4 Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
5-3/8 x 4-1/8 Real Red (for inside)
5.25 x 4 Whisper White (for inside)

Using the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, I first cut out the Santa using the Precision Plate for the Big Shot. Because there are so many little tiny pieces cut out, I used the Big Shot brush to remove all those little pieces. Anything that didn't come out, I used my Piercing tool to push them out.

Next I placed it over the 4-1/8" square of Real Red to determine where the stars would be. I placed the star thinlet on the red, removed the Santa piece, and cut out the stars with the Big Shot.

I then used the Fine tip glue pen sparingly and glued the Santa to the red piece.

I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings from Santa stamp set in Emerald Envy on the bottom of the card base. Using Fast Fuse I attached the Santa piece to the card front.

Using the clear Wink of Stella pen, I filled in the stars so they sparkle.

The ribbon I used is the Emerald Envy 1/8" Taffeta Satin ribbon found in the new Occasions catalog. I wrapped it around the front of the card and tied in a knot.

Detailed santa inside

For the inside, I took the Whisper White piece and die cut the stars in the upper left corner and the striped piece along the bottom. I then stamped the sentiment in Real Red. I then layered that piece atop the Real Red piece and attached them both to the inside of the card.
