Birthday Delivery Birthday Card

This is the card I made for my grandson's 5th birthday. He had requested a game called "Catch the Fox" so I wanted to make him a card that fit his request.

I created a 5 x 7 card base from Whisper White Thick cardstock to fit all these elements on the front.

I used the dies in the bundle to cut out the fox and the banner. I then stamped the sentiment on the banner using Real Red ink.

I then fussy cut the bear, squirrel and turtle as well as the balloons.

I first put down the strip of designer paper and some Soft Sky strip to create the card front. I then placed the cut out figures on it to determine final placing.

Using dimensionals (both regular and mini) on all the figures. I added the fox and then the banner. I then put down the bear, fitting the balloons a little behind it but matching the string the bear holds. Next I fit in the turtle and the squirrel.

I added a birthday sentiment on the inside using the Happy Birthday stamp from the Birthday Delivery stamp set. I also cut out a "5" using glimmer paper and the Large Numbers dies.
