All the cuts:
Daffodil Delight Card Base
Basic Black, 3-7/8" by 5-1/8"
Old Olive, 3.75" x 5"
Whisper White
Since I am using my Blends, you need to stamp the image on whisper white with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. If you want to watercolor the flowers, you should use the Basic Black archival ink or StaZon ink. Because this image doesn't always stamp a solid color on the words (and you don't have to have it solid--it can look great anyway), I used my Stamparatus so I could stamp the image more than once to get the solid look I wanted.
Once I stamped the image, I die cut it using the Lots of Labels Framelits. Once cut out, I colored the flowers with my Blends--Daffodil Delight, Light Calypso Coral, and Old Olive. I wanted a rose like ones that grow in my garden--yellow with a pink or coral accent. I found that the Calypso Coral Blends worked the best at showing the colors I wanted.
I then went over the black letters with Wink of Stella so it would sparkle.
I took the Old Olive piece and embossed it with the Layered Leaves 3-D embossing folder.
I attached the embossed piece to the black layer--use a strong adhesive because embossed layers don't always stick well. I used Fast Fuse but that is retiring.
Once I had the green and black layers together I wrapped Black shimmer ribbon around them and adhered to the back. Attach those to the card base.
Using dimensionals I attached the stamped and diecut image onto the card.
