P retty, spring card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 4" of green maze on white background design from Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/8" x 4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Colorful Seasons Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the solid, large maple leaf image from the Colorful Seasons Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Call Me Clover Ink Pad. Stamp it several times across the large white rectangle in a diagonal from the lower left corner to the upper right corner. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Rotate the direction of the image each time. Let some of the images go off the edges.
Mount the detailed, large maple leaf image from the Colorful Seasons Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Call Me Clover Ink Pad. Stamp it several times across the large white rectangle in a diagonal from the lower left corner to the upper right corner. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Rotate the direction of the image each time. Let some of the images go off the edges and overlap the previously stamped leaves. Leave the stamp on the block.
Mount the solid, small maple leaf image from the Colorful Seasons Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad. Stamp it several times across the large white rectangle in a diagonal from the lower left corner to the upper right corner. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Rotate the direction of the image each time. Let some of the images go off the edges and overlap the previously stamped leaves.
Mount the "you make me smile" sentiment from the Colorful Seasons Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Call Me Clover Ink Pad. Stamp it on the right side of the white strip.
Adhere the stamped white strip to the strip of Painted Seasons Designer Paper.
Adhere the matted sentiment strip to the large, stamped white rectangle about 1" from the bottom.
Adhere the large, stamped white rectangle to the front of the Lemon Lime Twist card.
Re-ink the detailed, large maple leaf image on Block D with the Call Me Clover Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Lemon Lime Twist square.
Pick out the matching, open, large maple leaf framelit from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits. Place the stamped leaf image on the Lemon Lime Twist square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the open maple leaf framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped leaf image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the leaf cut out at a slight angle to the card front so it is centered over the matted sentiment strip on the left side.
Cut an 8" piece of Call Me Clover 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the top of the stem of the leaf cut out at a slight angle.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up three differently sized Call Me Clover dots from a sheet of Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the front of the card.
