S ilver and Ornaments....they go so well together.....and then add some Night of Navy and you have a gorgeous Christmas card.
Project Recipe
Cutting & Scoring:
• Night of Navy – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score and fold at 4 ¼”
• Whisper White – 5 ¼” x 4” for inside matte
• Balmy Blue – 5 3/16” x 3 15/16”
• Vellum Cardstock – 5 1/16” x 3 13/16”
• Silver Glimmer Paper – 2 ½“ x 2 ½“
• Adhesive Sheet – 2 ½“ x 2 ½“
• Best Route DSP – 2 ½” x 2 ½”
• Baker’s Twine – 6“
• Silver / White Ribbon – 8”
Instructions:
• Stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment on the Balmy Blue matte with Night of Navy ink
• Using the Big Shot, emboss the Vellum cardstock with the Softly Falling embossing folder
• Adhere the Vellum cardstock to the Balmy Blue matte using Tear & Tape under where the ornament will go. Place a few dots of liquid glue under the vellum under the dots so it is discrete and can hardly be seen
• Punch out a 2 ¼“ circle from the piece of Best Route DSP
• Place the piece of adhesive sheet on the back side of the silver glimmer paper
• Using the Big Shot, die cut the ornament out of the piece of silver glimmer paper
• Poke out all the pieces and remove the backing to make it into a sticker
• Attach the silver ornament sticker to the circle of DSP
• Attach the ornament to the top of the Vellum cardstock with dimensionals
• String the Night of Navy baker’s twine through the ornament top and secure the ends behind the piece of Balmy Blue using Tear & Tape
• Attach the Balmy Blue matte to the card front using liquid glue
• Make a bow with the Silver / White ribbon and attach to the ornament top using glue dots
• With Night of Navy ink, stamp a sentiment from the set and stamp some snowflakes with Balmy Blue ink and adhere to the inside of the card with liquid glue
