Paper Pumpkin Promotion

Want to get a start on your Christmas cards and your Christmas gift-giving?  Stampin' Up! has informed us that the October and November kits are going to coordinate.  They stand alone but if you'd like matching stuff, get both kits!  Subscribe by October 10 and you can receive the October kit!  You can also purchase the kits through my store.  You just need to order and activate the account (Stampin' Up! will send you an email telling you how!) by October 10!

I think the boxes are a hint of what's inside--looks like Plaid!  And I've been told if you don't celebrate Christmas you can use them for other occasions!  I love being able to create my cards that I am sending out by using these kits!  Everything you need to make the cards and you can jazz them up if you like!  I used the last November kit  to make the cards I sent out last year which you can see here

I can't wait to see what is in the October kit!  And if I can get a head start on my Christmas cards, then Yay! me!

NEW Host Code

I have a new Host code available.  If you make a purchase that is below $150, you should use the host code and be entered to win prizes from me!  If your order is above $150, then do not use the host code and you will receive your own host benefits.

Spooky Cat Halloween Swap Card

The theme for my September swap was all things FALL, and I decided to make a Halloween card.  I generally do not make many Halloween cards but the Spooky Night Designer Paper makes these cards sooo easy!

It's hard to see but the cat's eyes are Lemon-Lime Twist ink and Wink of Stella.  The cat was punched out with the Cat punch straight from one page of the Designer paper.  Easy-peasy! The moon is also a piece of the Designer paper.  Such a fun card to make!

Painted Harvest Thank You Card

I try to always send a thank you card to all my customers for their orders and continued support.  I truly appreciate everyone who places an order, attends my classes,  or subscribes to Paper Pumpkin. Thank you to you all!  This is the card I sent out this month to those who ordered in August and early September.

I love sunflowers so this Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper was perfect for what I wanted to make.  And if you like to get every bit of use out of your pretty papers, you can get 12 pieces out of a 12 x 12 sheet of paper by cutting them to 3 x 4 inch pieces.

You can get all the details and printable instructions here

This is a card that you can easily make and dress up or keep very simple.  The pretty papers make it so easy to create beautiful cards!  Stampin' Up! always has such gorgeous papers and I love that they all color coordinate to make it easier for us to make our projects.  They list what colors coordinate with each paper pack so you can purchase just those cardstock colors if you want to just match those papers!  It's not necessary to have every color (although I do love them all) in cardstock or ink!  You can slowly build your stash by purchasing a pack of beautiful designer paper and then get the inks and cardstock to match!

Winter Wonder Swap Card

The fourth of my 4 Holiday catalog swap cards uses the Winter Wonder Embossing Folder.  This is a fairly simple card with a lot of impact.  The photo doesn't do the card justice.

The sentiment is heat embossed in silver.  As I've stated before, I love heat embossing!  It makes everything look so elegant!

All of the details and printable instructions are available here

The Holiday Catalog is filled with some really awesome stamp sets, paper, dies, punches, ribbon and embossing folders.  Be sure and check it out!

Quilted Christmas Swap with Removable Ornament

The third of my Holiday Catalog swaps features the Quilted Christmas Suite found on pages 4-5 in the Holiday Catalog.  I wanted some thing I could easily make and yet be special so I decided to make a removable ornament to go on the front.  The Quilted Christmas Designer Paper made it easy since it had the quilt stars with 4 of them per sheet and came in both red and green stars. I cut them out using the Quilt Builder framelit dies.

After I took the photo, I decided it need something more so I added white gel pen strokes around all the stitched areas of the star.  It make it really jump out.  The ornament has a red star on the backside.
