This is one of the cards I sent out to my customers this month for Valentine's Day. Become a customer and you too will receive cards made by me especially for you!
I sent out Valentines to all my customers. Some received a stepped up version of my January swap Valentine and others received this one CASE'd from Lynn Tague:
Here are the instructions to make this card.
You too can get cards made especially by me for you when you become my customer!
For our January swap, we were to choose something from the new Occasions catalog or the Sale-a-Bration catalog. I decided to make Valentines!
I don't know if you can see it in the picture, but I used the Real Red Glitter embossing powder that carried over from the Holiday catalog. I made several of the hearts and was really disappointed in how they were looking. It was the first time I had used the glitter embossing powder and just wasn't happy. I do a LOT of embossing ( I make thank you tags for my daughter-in-law's business) and so I looked at my Versamark pad and thought "maybe it needs to be re-inked". Well, that solved the problem! It just needed more Versamark to make the glitter powder stick better! Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of those cards and just have the cards that didn't emboss well. Oh, well.
In my instructions (available here), I give some tips on how you can emboss the image without the glitter embossing powder or even the retired real red embossing powder! Make sure you check that out! You can emboss in any color without colored embossing powder!
I'm going to be sending out some of these Valentines that remain and add some additional embellishments (the Sending Love embellishments--those cute wooden elements--142735)
We've come to the end of my Succulent Garden One Sheet Wonder cards. Here is card #8 which uses the Sale-a-Bration stamp set "Any Occasion" which you can get for FREE with a $50 purchase:
I do love how easy it is to make these cards! One single sheet of 12 x 12 designer paper made 9 cards! You can mix and match papers, card stock, sentiments, embellishments--whatever you want to do!
Details and printable instructions can be found here. I give you some great tips on how to adhere those detailed and open die cuts so you don't have a lot of glue showing so check them out!
The final card is a really nice one to send to anyone going through a hard time (sympathy, get well, life struggle, encouragement). It uses the stamp set "Sending Thoughts".
And here are the details and instructions
And once again here are all of the cards in the series:
You know those best-laid plans? Yeah, they didn't happen. I had made all these cards and planned to post them every couple of days but it just didn't happen. Life sometimes gets in the way and that happened to me. My husband and I have been involved making a Lego table for 3 of our grandsons. This is a Christmas present delayed. We didn't like any of the ones we found for sale and thought we could make something better. We're going to take it to them this weekend. AND I've been in a bit of a funk and my mojo ran away. Guess I just didn't want to do much of anything. Sorry.)
Here is the next card in my Succulent Garden Designer Paper One Sheet Wonder series:
These are all very easy cards to make and reproduce. The instructions for this card can be found here
The next card in the series uses the Sale-a-Bration stamp set Delicate Details. Isn't the lace just lovely?
Here are the printable instructions for this card.
The third card for today (#7 in the series) is the easiest card of all to make! It features the Sale-a-Bration set So Very Much
And here are the printable instructions for this card.
I hope you are enjoying this series of cards. One Sheet Wonders (templates can be found on google and pinterest) make it so easy to make cards without wasting a bit of your pretty papers! Two more cards remain in this series and they will be available in a couple of days.
