Succulent Garden Card #3 It's Your Birthday

This is the third card in my Succulent Garden One Sheet Wonder Series.

For this third card in the series, you start with a Whisper White card base and a piece of Succulent Garden DSP cut to 4 x 6. You will then tear the designer paper--you can make the pieces even or tear any way you wish. If you are using different paper, you want to make sure the two sides go together. And think of how you want these two pieces to show. I wanted more of the succulent garden to show so tore the paper with more of the flowers showing.

Next you will want to adhere the papers however you want --whichever you want on top. I used Fast Fuse to adhere the bottom piece and then added the top piece. Since these have ragged edges, you may want to use Mono Tombow glue along those edges to adhere them down.

Next I took a piece of Whisper White and cut out the oval from the Layering Ovals thinlits. I cut out the scalloped oval in Old Olive from the same set but one size larger.

Using Calypso Coral I stamped the sentiment from Balloon Adventures. I stamped it off to one side because I wanted to stamp some succulents on the other side. I used the "background" stamps for the succulents and not the detailed stamps. Using Old Olive I stamped one full strength and two additional ones, stamping off first to make them lighter in color. I then added 3 small ones in Calypso Coral.

Adhere this piece with dimensionals and you are done! A quick and easy card!
