Peaceful Poppies Note Card

I didn't get a tutorial done for February in my Tutorial Co-op so I am doing two of them for March.  The first one is this

This is a very quick and easy card to make.  I used the Scalloped Notecards as a base and went from there.

All the Cuts:

  • Basic Black:  5" x 2 5/8",    Scrap to cut out label
  • Whisper white:  Scrap for label
  • Peaceful Poppy Designer Series Paper (DSP):  5" x 2 1/2"

Cut out the DSP and Basic Black piece.  Layer the DSP onto the black.  Stamp the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set onto the whisper white scrap with Poppy Parade and punch out using the Label Me Fancy punch.  Punch out a black piece.  Cut the black piece in half horizontally and add to the back edges of the white label so you have a black outline.  Add to the card front with dimensionals.  Cut a piece of Old Olive ribbon ( I used the ribbon from the new Ornate Garden Suite coming in the new annual catalog) and tie around the card front.  Add to the notecard using your favorite adhesive.  Easy peasy!

Don't forget that Sale-a-Bration is ending soon.  Some of the reward items have sold out (it is "while supplies last") but there are still plenty of items to choose from.  Also Stampin' Up! is going to offer some items from the annual catalog as reward items beginning March 25. I don't know what they are offering (we don't get told until the 24th) so keep a watch out for what is available!  Remember, you get to choose a FREE item with every $50 you order!
