Ornate Garden One Sheet Wonder Cards

I'm a member of Jessica Taylor's One Sheet Wonder Club (free to those in her downline--YAY) and I wanted to share the cards I made with the April template.  Unfortunately, I can't share the template with you since she sells membership in her club.  But I can share the cards I've made and give you directions on making them.  I decided I wanted to feature the Ornate Garden Suite, which will be in the new upcoming 2020 Annual Catalog.

For the cards that have the diagonal cuts--take a piece of DSP that is 4" x 4" and place two opposite corners on your trimmer and cut on that diagonal.  You will probably want to start the cut in the middle and move out to the corners so you don't catch the corner in the trimmer and smush it.  For the ones that have the sentiment on white in the middle--I took a piece of whisper white and cut it to 4 x 5 1/4" and added the diagonal pieces to the top and the bottom. I added twine or ribbon to the edges (wrap around the edges before you adhere to the card front).

For one of the cards I embossed a piece of Terracotta Tile (5 1/4" x 4") and then added the diagonal piece to that before adding to the card front.  And for one card I stamped the flower with Terracotta Tile ink onto Terracotta Tile cardstock.

For some I punched out leaves using the sprig punch and Old Olive and Mint Macaron cardstock.  I then cut some leaves off to add to the backs of die cut flowers.  For others I added champagne jewels to the flower centers.

Don't forget the insides of the cards!  I always put either whisper white or very vanilla on the insides of cards made with colored cardstock.  It makes the inside sentiment more visible and our sentiments stamp better on that cardstock.  It is also easier for you to write a message.

Here are photos of the individual cards and the insides (some insides are duplicated):

These were fun cards to make and will be going out tomorrow to my customers.  I can't wait until the May template comes out to see what I can do with it!
