Customer Valentine

This is one of the cards I sent out to my customers this month for Valentine's Day. Become a customer and you too will receive cards made by me especially for you!

Start with a base of Whisper White Thick card stock. The next layer is Real Red cut to 5.25 x 4. I layered everything on top before adhering to the card.

Using the Sending Love Designer Paper Stack I chose a paper and cut it into strips of 2 x 4 so that it can layer on the card front. I adhered that to the real red layer first.

Next I took some of the red ribbon from the Sending Love Ribbon pack and taped it down on the back. Then I took a small amount of ribbon and tied it into a knot on the front.

I chose the red glimmer paper and cut out the hearts using the Sunshine Wishes thinlit dies. The love was cut out using the same dies on basic black card stock.

I chose another piece of paper from the Sending Love paper stack and cut it out in 3" squares. Then I took the layered squares framelits and cut them out again in a smaller size. I backed that paper square with a scalloped square a bit larger in black.

So I layered the patterned paper on the black scallop square, added the hearts, and then the love on top of that.

How to add the hearts and love? There are several methods you can use--fine tip glue pen used sparingly, putting some mono white glue on the back of your hand and running the diecuts over it, or run it through a xyron if you have that (I put my cardstock through the xyron first and then die cut).

Then once it's all together, put the square on the card using dimensionals.
